Here at England & Wales Blind Golf we run a variety of golf based activities throughout the year. These range from crazy golf evenings all the way to four day stroke play tournaments for our more competitive golfers.

Social Events

We endeavour to arrange at least one social event each month which is open to all our members whether they are players, guides or simply support our programme. These social events range from crazy golf evenings followed by drinks to golf simulator days all with a bit of friendly competition. We also run coaching sessions alongside our tournaments whereby our more competitive golfers can compete on the course whilst our less experienced golfers can develop their skills with the help of specially trained PGA Professionals off the course.

At the end of our fixture season we run our Charity Day. This is an 18 hole team event run by England & Wales Blind Golf in association with our patron Peter Alliss

Competitive Events

At England & Wales Blind Golf we host 8 fixtures throughout the year. These start in April and end in September. These fixtures range from one day matches against other organisations, or one day Stableford events to four day stroke play tournaments for our most competitive! Within our fixtures we run an order of merit which starts in September with our Sir Colin Cowdrey Trophy, this is an 18 hole Stableford event, and ends with the Lawrence Levy British Masters in August which is a three day stroke play tournament. During the season there are a further four fixtures that qualify for the order of merit helping our members to keep that competitive edge throughout the season.

Finally each month we a monthly Stableford, with a twist. These Stablefords are played at our members home clubs with the results published on our website. This allows our members to compete against each other without the need to travel and stay at another venue.
