The Sir Colin Cowdrey Trophy 2017

The 2017 Sir Colin Cowdrey Trophy was played for on Sunday 8th October at Woodcote Park Golf Club and we thank them for their hospitality.

It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and the course was in excellent condition.

The winner of the event was Barry Ritchie from Coventry, guided by Chris Peake, who scored a magnificent 43 stableford points.  Runner up with 36 points was Stephen Kempster from Leighton Buzzard, guided by Rupert Warren.  Barry also won the Steve Ford Trophy for the best B1 player.  This trophy was donated by Maureen Ford in Steve’s name as Steve had been a member from the very early days of Blind Golf in England.
