Amanda Large

Amanda Large is a true inspiration, proving that sight loss doesn’t have to stop you from playing the sport you love. Despite having less than 5% vision due to Retinitis Pigmentosa, Amanda has never let it hold her back.

From excelling in cricket and tennis, including a gold medal for VI Team GB tennis, to now competing in blind golf, she continues to push boundaries and inspire others along the way.

Amanda plays blind golf with the support of a guide, just like all visually impaired golfers, who help describe the shot ahead. She has embraced the sport, building new friendships and competing internationally—showcasing that golf is truly a game for everyone, regardless of ability.
