Danny started the Masters competition in good form and finished as runner up on the 1st day of the Masters at Meon Valley Golf Club in Hampshire. By the end of day 2 he was tied with Mike Tomlinson for 1st place and they led the players out on the 3rd day. Danny maintained his steady play and but the end of the day finished 6 points ahead of Owen Robinson who had a good day and finished in second place. Age certainly isn’t a barrier amongst blind golfers and everyone was delighted to celebrate Danny’s win.
Take a look at Danny’s story and see how golf has helped him come to terms with his sight loss and brought him and his wife, Di, closer together.
