EWBG welcomes Richard Kaufman as a Patron of the charity.

Richard Kaufman is one of the lead commentators on Sky Sports Golf. He is the voice of women’s golf on the network, and can be heard on broadcasts around the world, at men’s and women’s majors, the Ryder and Solheim Cups.
An established voice in broadcasting over the last 30 years, Richard has also worked at many other majors sports events, covering amongst others, the Olympics, Wimbledon, Premier League and Champions League football.
This is what Richard had to say about becoming our Patron.
It’s an honour to be asked to become a patron of England and Wales Blind Golf.
Golf is a sport that has given me so much, from playing the game with friends to being amongst the elite golfers in the world. I truly believe that it’s a game that can bring so many benefits and we should be doing all we can to try and make that available to everyone, if possible. England and Wales Blind Golf have shown that having impaired vision or blindness doesn’t have to be a barrier to playing golf. And for people who have suffered sight loss, it’s an amazing way to help build confidence and in some cases, even start the journey to re-building lives. I hope I can assist in some way to spread the important England and Wales Blind Golf message and get more blind or visually impaired men and women playing this fantastic game.”
